SEIU 721 Ventura Superior Court members voted in their new bargaining team. Members voted at worksite meetings at all three different Ventura Court sites and the votes were tallied on Wed., June 29 at the SEIU 721 Ventura office.
Thanks to SEIU member leadership, the Tri-Counties Regional Center has received additional funding from the State of California (ABX2-1 funds) and a large portion of those funds are required to be used for employee salaries. Salary increases are key to retaining the experienced professionals that our communities need to serve families with disabilities.
L.A. County’s Eligibility Workers (EWs) are leading the charge to better deliver and improve services at DPSS. They’ve sounded the alarm on the ongoing issues that inhibit EWs from delivering critical services in a timely manner to the County’s most vulnerable populations, and they’re making headway with DPSS management!

Each year, County employees and their families have become more active and healthy by coming out to local outdoor venues to get their fitness on!
