The Executive Board is the governing body of SEIU Local 721 and meets on the first Thursday of each month. It is comprised of up to 45 democratically elected members from every region, each of whom serves for a three-year term. The most recent Executive Board elections were held in January of 2022.
Various committees and caucuses regularly provide recommendations to the Executive Board. These include the African American Caucus, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Caucus, the Armenian Caucus, the Asian Pacific Islander/Filipino Caucus, the Latino Caucus, the Lavender Caucus, the Native American Caucus, the Social and Economic Justice Caucus, the Veterans Caucus, the Women’s Caucus, the Committee on Political Education (COPE) and the Retirees’ Committee.
