United Voices For Children and Families Summit – June 9, 2012
SEIU 721 members convened a summit on child welfare that brought together a broad coalition of child advocates. The expert panelists and special guests included political, educational and judicial advocates of child safety. The June 9 summit was the first step in our efforts to engage the community to collaboratively reform child welfare in Los Angeles County.
Participating organizations included SEIU Local 721, Community Coalition, California Youth Connection and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
