riverside county waste management BOS July 2, 2013
After months of working together to fight the privatization of their department, SEIU 721 members from Riverside County Waste Management spoke at the Board of Supervisor’s meeting, July 2, reminding the Board that not only were members’ jobs at stake, but so too were the quality public services that they provide to residents. The Board voted 3-1 to abandon privatization efforts.
