LA’s leaders committed to restoring critical services by creating 5,000 new, permanent city jobs by mid-2018. Our union and the City of LA created a new Targeted Local Hiring program to give residents of our community a chance at a career in the city. The clock is ticking! We need services to be restored now – and the city still needs to hire a lot more residents to meet its goals!
