After 5 weeks of voting at worksites throughout the County and the Inland Regional Office, Riverside County members emphatically authorized an escalation up to and including a strike with a 98% yes vote!
Thousands of Riverside County SEIU Local 721 members have already casted their vote to escalate up to and including a strike. More and more members across the county are coming together, gearing up and want to make their voices heard because they know the stakes are too high!
SEIU 721 members are justifiably proud of their work. Every day, SEIU 721 members care for the sick, feed the poor, house the homeless, protect our children, and keep our streets clean and safe. We literally keep society moving.

During his campaign, Russian intelligence operatives reportedly manipulated Donald Trump’s lack of knowledge and experience to further their nation’s policy objectives. Now, some of the country’s biggest corporations and their lobbyists are exploiting the same weaknesses to roll back laws and regulations they don’t like, cut their own taxes and, in some cases, use the Office of the President to enrich themselves — all at the expense of ordinary working people and taxpayers.

Each year, SEIU 721 and the County of Riverside come together to offer scholarship awards, ranging from $250 to $5,000, to children of SEIU 721 members who are Riverside county employees. Applications are now being accepted.
