Last night, thousands of LA County members joined our Bargaining Update Tele-Town Hall. Weren’t able to join?

November 21st marked our third bargaining session with LA County management.
Your member-elected Bargaining Policy Committee (BPC) is focused on carrying out the priorities of SEIU 721 members at the bargaining table and bringing home an historic contract that uplifts our members, their families, and the vital frontline services our communities depend on.
We moved forward aggressively in our most recent bargaining session, submitting a comprehensive Fringe Benefits proposal that seeks to make significant improvements in our medical and retirement benefits.
Unfortunately, LA County management continues to slow roll negotiations, having failed to even agree to the Ground Rules set out during our first bargaining session – a clear indication that the County is digging in for a prolonged fight at the table.
But, as we’ve shown time and time again, we won’t back down, and we’re more determined than ever to win a landmark contract in 2025.
Our next bargaining session is scheduled for December 4th, and our elected Bargaining Policy Committee will continue to fight for our priorities at the table.
Remember, contracts are won through organizing and action, and our bargaining teams can’t win without the participation and solidarity of every LA County member.
Don’t forget to Purple Up on Thursdays to support our bargaining teams and show the County that we’re united for a strong contract in 2025.
