I should be selected as I have been involved with bargaining at the last cycle and I am familiar and dedicated to the process. Since then I have developed my networking with other nurses including advanced practice nurses; I have listened to their needs/wants and will continue to do so. I love being an advocate and wish to continue to represent DMH.

ANIKA SIMPSON

I am eager to serve on the Local 721 Bargaining Committee to advocate for our collective interests. I’ve had the pleasure of working for LAC for the past 15 years and for DMH for the past 10 years. During this period, I was blessed to promote from RN to NP. Therefore, I understand the needs of both disciplines. I support fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions.
