LA County SEIU 721 represented employees have the opportunity to enter a lottery to win a public transportation subsidy.* The first 1000 awardees randomly selected in the lottery will receive $50 per month for 8 months through the Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) beginning June 1, 2015.
Subsidies will offset the cost of monthly transit passes purchased each month (applied to pretax deduction). A monthly administrative fee will be deducted from after tax dollars so subsidy net amount applied will be $46.26. The time period to enter into the lottery drawing is Jan. 15 through 5:00 pm on Feb 27, 2015.
Lottery winners will be announced on March 3, 2015.

awarded for 8 months for initial winners.
