We did it! We came together and voted to join SEIU Local 721.
Management tried to convince us to give up our power — but we stayed strong and are on the path to win more for ourselves and our families.
Next stop: The bargaining table, where we’ll be negotiating with USC for better pay, benefits, and working conditions.
Finally, we have a powerful voice on the job!
What’s next?
Now that we won our union election, we will immediately begin preparations to negotiate our historic first union contract. We won’t be alone. We will have the backing of our fellow SEIU Local 721 members to guide us. Here is a summary of the next steps:
