We Are Getting Closer

On Tuesday, November 20, the LA County bargaining team went back to the table with County management.
We made significant progress. Unfortunately, we’re not done yet. As Bargaining Team Member Keenan Sheedy put it, “We didn’t quite reach the finish line.”
So both sides agreed to return to the table. Currently, we’re scheduled to resume negotiations on Thursday, November 21. We’ll update you with more information as soon as we have it.In the meantime, it’s important for us to remain united and strong. 
Unity breaks will continue at worksites across the County on Wednesday and Thursday. The large crowds at Unity Breaks have made an impression on the County, so we’ve got to keep it up. Check with your worksite organizer or steward for times and locations.
