That’s why SEIU Local 721, and DHS have teamed up to launch the “DHS Innovation Project”. Every Service unit in DHS is encouraged to work as a team – management and frontline workers – to develop, design and implement projects that will help ensure high-quality, patient-centered, cost-effective care in their units – things that will improve the system for patients and raise morale.
Each team that submits a proposal is eligible to receive up to $5,000 in funding. But hurry! Applications are due August 15.
“As frontline workers, we know firsthand how much an improved system
will help our patients – and our communities. That’s why an opportunity
like this is not to be missed. We all have good ideas – turn yours into
the new way to do things!”
