vote-smart-button_140x140.jpgThe SEIU 721 Executive Board is pleased to announce the endorsement of candidates in six local races. Local 721 members held town halls or endorsement meetings and made recommendations of support for candidates who valued middle class workers, public services and were committed to improving their communities even in these difficult times.

“In addition to being committed to providing public services, SEIU 721 members are equally Arnella Sims EBoard Pic 80x80.jpgcommitted to the cities in which they live and work,” said Arnella Sims, LA County Superior Court and COPE Chair.   “That’s why our members volunteer on commissions, PTA organizations, youth clubs, local churches or other non-profits and they also support their community by participating in democracy which includes voting.”

SEIU 721 members will also be supporting these candidates by precinct walking, phone banking, and host informal house meetings with their friends and neighbors.
