How can I get a membership card?
We no longer offer Access or provide membership cards.
Where can I find a copy of my contract?
On the SEIU 721 Contracts page you will see links for four regions, Los Angeles County, Los Angeles/Orange County Cities, Tri-Counties and Inland Area. When you click on the one that applies to you, you will see a list of individual bargaining units or employers. Choose the bargaining unit or employer that applies to you, and you can open your contract as a PDF document that you can search by keyword.
How can I purchase discounted tickets to amusement parks and special events?
Your membership in SEIU 721 entitles you and your family to many special discounts, substantial savings on special events, theme parks, movies and much more through the SEIU 721 Access Discounts. Great savings are available for Disneyland, Legoland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Sea World, movie theater tickets and much more. You can find more information here.
Online ticket purchases now available through SEIU 721 website. It just got a lot easier to get discounted tickets through SEIU 721. Just click the link of the tickets you want to purchase below and buy them online. All you need is your Membership Card ID. Lost your Membership Card ID? No problem. You can retrieve it online or call Member Connection at 1-877-721-4YOU (4968).
As a member of SEIU 721, what benefits do I receive?
As an active employee and a member of SEIU 721, you are eligible for a range of benefits, discounts and programs. You are automatically covered for $2,000 life insurance and an additional $2,000 accidental death and dismemberment insurance (a total of $4,000 if accidental death). Click here for a full listing of your union-paid benefits, discounts, and programs.
You are also entitled to all of the benefits and discounts offered through Union Plus, including loans, legal services, SEIU scholarships, Auto Club, mail-order pharmacy, mortgage program, etc.
Additionally, the following voluntary supplemental benefit programs are available to SEIU 721 members through payroll deduction:
- Disability Income Plan: Protect your income with a competitive disability income plan which pays 60% of your income, up to $1,800 monthly, if you become disabled due to illness or injury. Applications received within 60 days of union membership are guaranteed a $500 minimum monthly benefit.
- Vision Service Plan: You and your family can receive full eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and the latest in eye care fashion and technology.
- Dental Plan: Purchase primary coverage or supplement existing benefits, if your current plan requires you to pay deductibles and co-payments.
- Cancer and Catastrophic: Supplement your current medical plan with low-cost coverage that can be applied toward any deductibles and co-payments. It also pays a daily hospital income payment in addition to any other benefits you may receive.

LA County employees with questions about health benefits should call the Options Benefits Hotline at 213-388-9982 to speak with a representative anytime Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Options hotline is open for additional hours in October, the month of open enrollment.
