March for a Fair Economy on Saturday, August 6, 2011.
This year’s fair theme is “Bounty of the County.” SEIU members are certainly part of the county’s bounty! Let’s march together and show that public workers are a valuable part of the community and that we are united with other local unions and community groups.
Join us as we come together as a community to show our support for workers’ rights and a better Ventura County. If you’re interested in marching in the parade, download this flyer and follow the instructions on the sheet.
Is this parade for all SEIU Locals, or just 721?
We’re inviting other unions and community groups to march with us. I’m not sure if we’ve specifically reached out to other SEIU Locals but they/you are certainly invited.
