SEIU 721 Members Endorse Aleen Langton for Both LACERA Boards

Aleen Langton is running to be our representative on the LACERA Board of Retirement and Board of Investments. Aleen is an attorney with more than 28 years of experience working for LA County. Aleen has provided expert legal advice and protected the public interest her entire career with LA County.

That’s why SEIU 721 members endorsed her to be our General Member representative on both the Board of Retirement and Board of Investments of LACERA.

Remember to vote for Aleen Langton for both LACERA Boards starting August 5th.

“One of the most valuable assets we have is our LACERA pension. ImageIt was my honor to serve on the LACERA Board of Investments for more than a decade with people like Vivian Gray (first woman to chair the BOR) and Herman Santos (20+ years on the BOI). Now, with Herman and Vivian retiring, all three of us agree that Aleen Langton, with 28 years of experience as an attorney with the County, is the best person to continue the historic work of Vivian Gray on the BOR, and the best candidate (and only woman running) for the BOI.” -David Green, SEIU 721 President (Former LACERA BOI Chair).
