Faculty working conditions are student learning conditions. By mistreating and exploiting non-tenure track (NTT) faculty, USD is undermining its mission of providing quality education to students while flouting its Jesuit values.

USD has lost its way.

The administration’s reliance on low wage, non-tenure track (NTT) positions leaves our NTT faculty in frightening precarity. Not only does this harm NTT faculty and their loved ones, but it hinders our education.

We don’t pay a premium for education only for NTT faculty to struggle to make ends meet. It’s time for USD to prioritize our educators’ well-being, so they can fully invest in our learning journey.
