Dozens of County of Riverside members put county leadership on notice at the May board meeting, delivering a petition with more than 1,500 signatures of members who are demanding that the County bargain in good faith.
After the previous contract fight took more than three years and featured dozens of ULP charges against the county, Riverside County members are letting management know up-front that we’re not putting up with any disrespect or bad faith in 2023.
Members were joined by SEIU 721 president David Green and executive board member and Moreno Valley city council member Cheylynda Barnard as we delivered copies of the petition to every supervisor, as well as displaying the signatures on posters in representation of our union siblings.
