We will never forget how we put our lives on the line, and saved numerous lives, during one of the most terrifying catastrophes in modern history.
But it looks like some top managers – and maybe even some members of the Board of Supervisors – can’t wait to forget.
This time last year, we were being called “heroes.” Now, many top managers are balking on rewarding us with Heroes Pay for All!
They even balk at covering the rising costs of our healthcare even though we are the safety net for LA County’s 11 million residents!

There’s already talk of possible job privatizations at 2-1-1 LA County.
The call center currently housing our Union Brothers and Sisters who – with patience and professionalism – connected frightened LA County residents to vital services during the entire COVID-19 pandemic.
But the Board of Supervisors may contract out the jobs at 2-1-1 LA County to Big Tech. THAT’s the thanks they may get for a job well done.
Take a stand NOW. Tell all of LA County’s top management: We won’t stand for it … at 2-1-1 LA County or anywhere else!
