Despite increasingly desperate attempts by Riverside County to silence our voices, the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) reaffirmed Friday that the overwhelming majority of SEIU 721 members have the legally protected right to participate in our upcoming ULP strike on September 6th and 7th.
The County’s latest attempt to intimidate and silence workers under the flimsy guise of protecting patient care quickly fell apart after the Court declined to grant the County’s request for a temporary restraining order for our strike action Wednesday.
We remain committed to defending quality patient care in our facilities, and together we will strike to hold the County accountable for its rampant law breaking throughout our bargaining process.
We are continuing to fight to protect the legal rights of every SEIU 721 represented member to participate in our Unfair Labor Practice strike.
Every member will be advised of latest updates before our ULP strike. Stay tuned to seiu721.org for the latest updates and key information on next week’s actions.
We must insist that Riverside county does right by us. Anytime we give them an inch they try to slide in another mile.
Hey! ho ho!! Unfair practices got to go!
