SEIU Local 721 members unanimously voted to approve a tentative agreement with Las Virgenes Municipal Water District on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.
The tentative agreement features 3.5% wage increases over the three year term, a 7% pension swap and a host of other first time improvements like an increase in standby pay and new rest and recovery language.
Members have been active at Municipal Water District board meetings and this certainly has made a difference. The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District board will meet on Jan. 13 to vote on the agreement.
