SEIU Local 721 helped sponsor Central Coast Alliance United for A Sustainable Economy’s (CAUSE) 8th Annual Community Building Luncheon, held on Friday, September 26, 2014.
Keynote speaker Manuel Pastor, Ph.D., spoke about the County’s shifting voting demographics in the County. The event’s Master of Ceremony was Sonali Kolhatkar, host of the radio show Uprising Radio on KPFK.
The CAUSE luncheon is one of the largest community fundraising events in Ventura and is certainly a “power lunch” with dozens of elected officials and organization leaders in attendance.
CAUSE has been a strong SEIU 721 community partner for years and it is focused on social, economic and environmental sustainability.
