SEIU Local 721’s Latino Caucus celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in style on September 15, 2012. Members made use of the second floor parking lot of the Wilshire building and had a beautiful LA City backdrop as a view.
There was a voter registration booth, a raffle and prizes, in addition to a live band.
Latin American Independence was celebrated with food from various nations, including pupusas, tacos, and tamales.
The Latino Caucus put on a great live show. One of our stewards even got on stage and serenaded his wife.
