Who we are
As members of the Los Angeles Professional Managers’ Association (LAPMA) we strive with pride and professionalism to forge the city’s workforce into a team with common goals: to keep the city clean, safe and running smoothly. We oversee the provision of dependable services from City Hall to the beaches, from the airports to the harbor, across nearly 500 square miles of one of the world’s most important and diverse cities. We keep the city’s buildings sound, airports safe, parks clean and traffic moving. Our work is largely invisible to most Angelenos, making us unsung heroes in our service to the public.
